According to the "Tianjin Science and Technology Award Measures", "Implementation Rules for Tianjin Science and Technology Award Measures", and "Tianjin Deepening Science and Technology Award System Reform Plan", after evaluation by the Tianjin Science and Technology Award Evaluation Committee and review by the Municipal Science and Technology Bureau, the Municipal People's Government has approved the release of the "2021 Tianjin Science and Technology Award Winners List", which includes a total of 197 achievements such as 13 natural science awards, 10 technological invention awards, and 174 scientific and technological progress awards.

19 achievements in Tianjin Port Free Trade Zone were commended by the 2021 Tianjin Science and Technology Award, among which the "Key Technology and Engineering Application of High Performance Hybrid Robots" project participated by Tianjin Automotive Mold Co., Ltd. won the first prize of technical invention. This project has solved the challenges in mechanism innovation, design theory, and key technologies of high-performance hybrid robots, bridging the entire chain from independent design to engineering application. It has invented a new mechanism for hybrid robots with practical engineering value, broken down foreign patent barriers, and achieved the source innovation of such robots, achieving significant social and economic benefits.
